Killstreaks are like extra power-ups that unlock when you can keep killing or gaining points. They are game changers and should be well known. There are over 19 different kill streaks in COD MW2, but not all of them are effective. This guide will give you a list of the top ten kill streaks that can give you the most kills in MW2.
Top 10 kill streaks and how to use them
Killstreaks are rewarded when you get continuous kills or reach certain points. For example, if you can get 6 kills in a row, you can trigger a cruise missile kill streak, if it is part of your loadout, you must choose the best one, because it will be your best ally in the game. If you are sure that you will not die soon, you can choose Gunship or Juggernaut. Killstreaks requiring 10 kills are a game changer. You can easily take out the crowd ahead if you have one of those active killstreaks in MW2.
- Oncoming UAV (5 kills) – 625 points
- Cluster mines (5 kills) – 625 points
- Cruise missiles (6 kills) – 750 points
- Turret (7 kills) – 875 points
- VTOL (8 kills) – 1000 points
- Chopper Gunner (10 kills) – 1250 points
- Emergency Drop (10 kills) – 1250 points
- Gunship (12 kills) – 1500 points
- Advanced UAV (12 kills) – 1500 points
- Juggernaut (15 kills) – 1875 points

To trigger a kill streak, you must be away from the enemy. If you’re calling in a gunship, jet, or cruise missile, don’t stay within attack range. In addition, when you are working with a gadget, anyone can easily kill you.
There are two more MW2 killstreaks that can help you in the middle of the battle. One is the Care Package, which unlocks at 5 kills, and the other is the Emergency Airdrop, unlocked at 10 kills. The first one rewards you with a random kill streak. If the one in the gear doesn’t help then summon this one and the second one requires more kills. But this one is the best, if you call an Emergency Airdrop you will get 3 random killstreaks at your location. Having three different kill streaks opens the door to possibilities. With each of them, you can target a large group of enemies.
