To fix this, you will have to adjust the window size on your desktop.

  • Click on the “Maximize”window in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  • Move the cursor to the edges of the browser window.
  • When you see the resize pointer arrow, click on it and drag to adjust the window.
  • If you are returning the window to its original size, double-click the title bar.

The steps to disable hardware acceleration are given below:

  • Launch Chrome and draw a three-dot menu icon in the top right corner.
  • Go to “Google Chrome Settings”> “Advanced”> “System”.
  • Locate the Use hardware acceleration when possible slider in this window and disable it.
  • Then click the “Restart”button. This will reload your browser.
  • Open your browser again and search for chrome://gpu. This will display the status of all GPU related settings in your browser’s GPU reporting menu.

Deactivate Chrome Flags

You will find this procedure helpful if you are trying to disable Chrome flags −

  • Raise chrome://flags/the page in the Chrome browser. This will take you to the flags section of Chrome.
  • Use the search bar at the top to find all experiments related to “GPU”and “Rendering”.
  • Disable them all using the dropdown menu to the right of them.
  • Restart your browser to save these changes.

You can enable them again if the experiment does not affect the performance of your browser.

  • If there are available drivers, they will be loaded automatically.
  • To install them, just reboot the device.

Alternatively, you can use front-end applications such as GeForce Experience or Radeon Adrenalin to get updates.

The last solution for you is to reset your Chrome browser settings. Use below steps −

  • Bring up the Google Chrome window and click on the address bar.
  • Find the following − chrome://settings/reset
  • Select the Restore Original Defaults option.
  • In the small pop-up dialog box that appears, select the Restore Settings option.

Once you confirm this decision, you will lose all extensions, shortcuts, cookies, and changes you have made to your browser.

Note. In older versions of the browser, you will only see the “Reset”button.

Alternatively, you can use the Cleanup section to remove malware from Chrome Browser.

If none of the solutions work, you can add the No Sandbox option to the Chrome browser. However, we do not recommend this solution. If none of the above solutions work for you, please contact Google Chrome Support for further assistance.
