For a survival horror game, the only important thing equivalent to a weapon is healing. Without the ability to escape from the abyss, no armor and weapons will help. Because the healing mechanic differs from game to game, players can sometimes get confused. So how do you heal in Dead Space Remake? If you too are confused or new to the game, this guide is exactly what you need. While we are explaining to you how you can restore your health, you also need to remember how to find them in different places. Also remember that they must be saved in your inventory. Don’t worry, it won’t take up much space in your inventory. However, scroll through this healing guide and you’ll be fine.
How to heal in Dead Space Remake
While it’s quite obvious that you need health packs to heal yourself in the game, the amount of health you regenerate will depend on which one you use. However, any first aid kit will be useful in life and death situations.
Now that you know you can heal yourself with medkits in Dead Space Remake, here are the controls for applying them:
- For PlayStation users – press O
- For Xbox Users – Press B
- For PC users – press Q
Please note that these key bindings are set by default and if you change anything you will have to go through your settings. In addition, you can also go to your inventory, select a first aid kit and press the action button to heal yourself in the game. However, this is a slow method and we don’t recommend it unless you have control over the key bindings.
How to get first aid kits
Medical kits can be found on all Dead Space Remake maps. There are three main ways in which you can collect first aid kits:
- Stomping the enemies you defeat.
- Destroying all crates in the area.
- Lockers that you can open based on clearance level.
That’s it for healing in Dead Space Remake. While you’re here, be sure to check out our other Dead Space Remake guides.
