In addition to many other ranged weapons in Sons of the Forest, you shouldn’t miss the slingshot. This is the only weapon with infinite ammo as there are rocks all over the place. However, the slingshot is not available for use. As with any other item, you will have to work hard to get it. So what can you do to get a slingshot? Here’s everything you need to know.
Sons Of The Forest Slingshot Location
Unlike a rebreather or a cross (secret weapon), a slingshot is much easier to find. Those who found the Shovel, Slingshot can be found in the same place. It is located on the western side of the snowy mountain. For reference, we have marked this location in the image below:

After reaching the place marked above, you will find 3 standing corpses with sticks stuck in their bodies. Just go to the corpse in the middle and take the slingshot from there.
How to use slingshot in SOTF?
Now that you have the slingshot in your inventory, let us know how to use it. Luckily, rocks are scattered all over the map so we never run out of ammo. If you have a stone in your inventory, it will automatically be placed on the sling when you equip the sling in Sons of the Forest.
Also, keep in mind that you can only use smaller rocks as slingshot ammo. Comparatively large stones cannot be used to hit a creature. So, make sure you grab the right side of the rock before trying to use the slingshot in Sons of the Forest.
