Fighting for survival in the forest on a remote island is hard work. The long-awaited continuation of the popular game The Forest will allow you to uncover the secrets of this mysterious island, on which you find yourself in a predicament. Your only hope is to collect and create tools to help you get through another day. But you are not the only victim of the island, evil cannibal mutants roam the forests and caves in search of fresh meat. A trusty weapon is your best bet against them, and here’s a quick guide to crafting a bow and arrow in Sons of The Forest.
How to make a bow and arrow in Sons of the Forest
To craft a bow, you will need the following items
- 2 sticks
- 1 duct
- 1 rope
Sticks can be found all over the island and we recommend keeping as many as possible in your inventory. The rope can be found at the mouth of the river delta in the north of the island. Make your way to the open plains of the river delta and go to the river flow. You will see a rope hidden on the river bank. At the beginning of the game, there should be several rolls of duct tape near the crash site. Once you have these items, simply place them on your Survival Kit’s crafting board and craft a bow.
You can also craft some arrows for your new bow. These are the items you will need to craft arrows.
- 2 sticks
- 4 small stones
- 2 feathers
Small stones are scattered on the ground in all parts of the island, but they are easier to find on the coast. Feathers can be obtained by killing birds such as seagulls. The best place to look for seagulls is the shores of the island. When you have these items, place them on the crafting board and you will receive a set of stone arrows that match your bow.
