GTA 5 Online is a playground for many activities. From planning a heist with friends to participating in custom races, you and your friends can spend days in real life discovering all the streets of Los Santos have to offer. But trading cars with friends is one of the few features that Rockstar refused to add to the game. And this is where we come into play. Let’s see how you can trade cars in GTA 5 online using glitches.
How to trade cars in GTA 5 Online
Note. Using glitches may mean temporary or permanent suspension of your Rockstar account, use this method at your own risk.
To use this glitch, you and your friend will need their own MOC (Mobile Operations Center), which you can purchase from the Warstock Cache & Carry website, and a free car in that MOC.
- Drive your MOC to the Sandy Shores parking lot where you should see an old rusty car. During this process, a free car must be parked at your MOC.
- Use your MOC to push this car into the parking path while you park the MOC so that the rear wheels line up with the white line in the fourth parking space.
- Call your friend you want to trade with and park their MOC in the opposite parking space while the car you want to trade must be parked behind that MOC.
- Log into your MOC and get into the parked car, ask your friend to do the same and get out.
- Your friend has to get out of the car while you perform the glitch – slowly crash into the rusty car while spamming. Right on the D-pad and open the interaction menu. Exit and enter the car and try to control it, if the car does not move, then the glitch has worked.
- After opening the interaction menu, go to the car you want to exchange and enter it. Ask your friend to log into his MOC, this should cause a glitch in your MOC with the car.
- Now ask your friend to send you an invitation to his MOC, accept it and leave his MOC immediately.
- Now open the interaction menu and select the “Return Personal Vehicle for Storage”option, and the vehicle is yours.
