The Cowabunga v8.1.0 update adds custom fonts and other improvements for MacDirtyCow and TrollStore devices.

Cowabunga, one of the most popular all-in-one UI customization apps for vulnerable TrollStore and MacDirtyCow devices, was updated to version 8.1.0 on Sunday with an impressive list of additional improvements.

The v8.1.0 update comes almost two weeks after the main v8.0 update, and referring to the changelog on the project’s GitHub page, this version adds the following changes:

– Custom fonts are now here! Create your own font package and import files into them. ttf and. ttc – Info: font files should be named the same as they are replaced when they are imported (eg SFUI.ttf for the default font) – Import and export custom operations! – Color operations – Removing plist keys in custom operations – You can now import icon themes from files. theme from share menu on iOS 15 – Search and filter research page – Turning off Screen Time is now also removed from managed iCloud – Cowabunga app icon preview is now in HD – Custom locks now work on some compatible iPads.

Existing Cowabunga users are of course advised to upgrade to version 8.1.0 to take advantage of all the latest features. New users should also be sure to download the latest build available.

Cowabunga can be subscribed permanently on iOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 and 15.6 betas, excluding release candidate and official public release) using TrollStore. If you’re running the MacDirtyCow exploit, you should download the app to an iOS 15.0-16.1.2 device using AltStore or Sideloady instead.
