The developer-focused XinaA15 jailbreak tool for arm64e devices on iOS and iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 received another public beta update on Monday morning, bringing the tool up to version 1.1.7.1.
The latest public beta release was announced via the XinaA15 Discord server and includes a link to jacksight’s GitHub page that better describes what’s new in the latest update.
The changelog for version 1.1.7.1 lists the following changes:
- New user interface
- Reducing the chance of a “pink screen reboot”by preventing apps from loading automatically.
- Logout and soft restart mechanisms have been adjusted.
If you are an existing XinaA15 jailbreak user , we recommend updating to the latest version to make sure you are enjoying the latest and greatest improvements.
As for people who are not yet using XinaA15, we generally recommend waiting until some bugs are fixed. XinaA15, while working, has earned a reputation for being less user-friendly than traditional jailbreaks.
Just in case something goes wrong and you don’t know how to fix it, we recommend waiting until the tool is out of public beta. This is because the jailbreak is currently for developers and should become more stable over time.
XinaA15 is currently the only jailbreak for iOS 15.0-15.1.1 on arm64e devices (iPhone XR and later) besides Fugu15 and ra1ncloud. The main difference, however, is that XinaA15 supports tweaks while the other jailbreaks mentioned do not.
The latest version of the XinaA15 jailbreak can be downloaded from the link shared by the developer on Twitter.
