Adapting a video game for the small or big screen is definitely a risky proposition. There are plenty of bad examples. However, recently it must be admitted that the results have been quite good. Some adaptations of successful licenses have been real successes. Meanwhile, Nintendo fans are waiting for the release of Super Mario Bros. movie. Here they are today served with a new trailer.

This weekend, Big N unexpectedly shared a new trailer for their highly anticipated Super Mario Bros. movie. 30 short seconds of video showing additional content from the scene we already saw in the trailer first released last November.
Opportunity to discover Mario Chat vs. Donkey Kong
More importantly, this clip allows fans to see or rather hear Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong for the first time. After Mario puts on his cat costume, first introduced in Super Mario 3D World 2013, Seth Rogen’s Donkey Kong starts laughing, “You got a litter! I’m sorry, the monkey said to his nemesis before becoming very serious, “Now you’re going to die.”
In a trailer released this weekend, Nintendo is giving fans a chance to hear the full cast of Super Mario Bros. film, including Chris Pratt as Mario, Jack Black as Bowser, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach. Following the release of the second trailer for the film, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that Nintendo had redesigned the Donkey Kong model for the second time since the monkey made its 3D debut in 1994’s Donkey Kong Country. The film will hit French cinemas on April 7th.
