The Havoc repository adds a built-in theme downloader to make applying themes on non-jailbroken devices even easier.

Havoc, one of the most popular repositories that can be used on jailbroken devices to get jailbreak tweaks and other add-ons, made an important announcement on Wednesday that will improve the user experience associated with downloading themes on non-jailbroken devices.

As far as we know, Havoc is celebrating its birthday by getting a brand new theme downloader that users can access from the website without a jailbroken device to quickly and easily download and apply a theme to their home screen without having to manually install a theme for everyone. applications. icon.

We tried this feature ourselves and it seems incredibly easy to use. By visiting the Havoc.app order page in your favorite mobile web browser, you can click on your theme, free or premium, and find the blue “Install Theme”button:

When you click the Install Theme button, the Havoc website now displays an icon picker where you can choose which app icons to download and apply to your home screen. This process will require you to install a configuration profile that controls the icon theme. You will need to install and trust this for it to work.

Many themes in the Havoc repository already support non-jailbreak devices. In the example above, we are using Junipero, which we recently showed to our readers.

Crackers and non-hackers alike should applaud such ingenuity because it makes iPhone and iPad customization methods easier for the end user, and therefore more accessible.
