TrollStore is a great way to enjoy hacks and UI improvements for both jailbroken and non-jailbroken iOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 and 15.6 beta builds), as well as a new TrollStore compatible free add-on called SecondHand from an iOS developer . LeminLimez certainly caught our attention.
SecondHand offers two main forms of customization, including:
- Displaying seconds on the time display in the status bar
- Displaying the current date in a breadcrumb link box
Like any TrollStore-enabled add-on, SecondHand comes as a file. ipa with permanent signature. This app stays subscribed indefinitely thanks to a CoreTrust bug that triggers TrollStore and when you run it you will find that you have toggle switches for each of the aforementioned features.
As noted in the /r/jailbreak developer post, access to location services should be set to “Always”if you want SecondHand to run in the background.
SecondHand does not currently support the MacDirtyCow exploit on devices with vulnerable firmware, but the developer is looking for ways to make it work.
