How to Unlock Ranked Game Skins in COD MW2
8 skins can now be unlocked in ranked matches. While 6 of them are unlocked as rewards for advancing in the skill division, the other 2 are part of the rank rewards. So you can earn the following skins in COD Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play:
- Ranked Ranked Skins
- Ranked Member – unlocked as a reward at level 5.
- Ranked Veteran – Unlocked as a reward at level 50.
- Ranked Skill Division Skins
- Gold Member – Complete Season 2 with the Gold Skill Division.
- Platinum Member – Complete Season 2 with the Platinum Skill Division.
- Diamond Competitor – Complete Season 2 in the Diamond Skill Division.
- Crimson Competitor – Complete Season 2 in the Crimson Skill Division.
- Iridescent Competitor – Complete Season 2 in the Iridescent Skill Division.
- Top 250 Players – Finish Season 2 as one of the top 250 players.
For those who don’t know, your progress in Skill Division is determined by the outcome of each match you play. If you win you gain skill ratings, if you lose you lose skill ratings. Aside from the skill division that changes, the ranks you earn remain the same throughout the season. It starts at rank 1 and goes up to rank 50. Each win in Modern Warfare 2 ranked play earns you a star. Collecting stars will increase your ranking.
