Vikings: Valhalla renewed for third season

Netflix has ordered the third season of Vikings: Valhalla.

The second season of Vikings: Valhalla ended with the three main characters Freydis Eriksdottir (Frida Gustavsson), Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett) and Harald Sigursson (Leo Suter) going on separate journeys. Freydis’ path leads her to the legendary Viking fortress of Jomsborg, where she goes to give birth to her son. For their part, Leif and Harald undertook a daring crossing across the waters of the Baltic Sea to the city of Constantinople.

Vikings: Valhalla will return in 2024 with a third season

As their diverging paths seem to take them further and further apart, we can only wonder what the new season of Vikings: Valhalla has in store for them. Although the plot of this new season, which is scheduled for release in 2024, has not yet been announced, the streaming platform Netflix announces that fans will mainly experience new journeys, exploration of new lands and bloody battles. Along with returning Frida Gustavsson, Sam Corlett and Leo Suter, Goran Visnjic joins the cast of Vikings: Valhalla as Erik the Red. There will also be Laura Berlin, Pollyanna McIntosh, Bradley Freegard and David Oakes.
