ARK: Survival Ascended, ARK: Survival Evolved Remastered with Unreal Engine 5

Studio Wildcard announces the release of ARK: Survival Ascended by the end of August next year on consoles and PC.

Developed with the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine, Studio Wildcard’s ARK: Survival Ascended remaster consists of a starter island, Survival of the Fittest (battle royale mode) and non-canonical maps. Please note that Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1 and Genesis Part 2 DLC will be available on the Explorer and Genesis Passes for €19.99.

Our desire to push the boundaries of ARK 2 on the next generation platform has led us to the decision to create an ARK staging product on Unreal Engine 5 using some of the new technologies we are developing that will allow us to deepen our craft. new engine and experience some of our most adventurous technological advances. This will give us a better understanding of how rendering and lighting methods work on the console, what the performance will be like, whether we can optimize and deliver interactive water and foliage to scale, and more.

Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC players will only be able to get ARK: Survival Ascended Remaster through the ARK Respawned Bundle. This bundle includes both ARK: Survival Ascended and ARK 2 and will retail for $49.99. This will include access to an exclusive ARK 2 closed beta that will last one month in 2024. PS5 players will be able to get their hands on ARK: Survival Ascended as a standalone next-gen game for $39.99 when the ARK: Survival Evolved servers stop.
