FNAF Security Breach Ruin DLC release date
The Ruin DLC was first announced on May 30, 2022 on the official Steelwool Studios Twitter account. The FNAF Security Breach Ruin DLC is confirmed to release this year in 2023. This DLC will be an optional update and free for players who purchase Five Nights At Freddy’s Security Breach. Although a fixed release date has not yet been announced, we will update this article as soon as more information becomes available.
The promotional teaser confirmed and revealed that the game would take place at the Pizzaplex. From the teaser, we see Gregory asking for help from the Pizzaplex ruins. We can also see a broken version of the Glamrock Chica animatronic in complete ruins. If you notice, there is a set of red eyes in the upper left corner of the teaser photo. It could be the main antagonist, or possibly William Afton, waking up from the dead again. Or it could be another character from past FNAF games.
But who will be the main character of the Ruin DLC? It looks like the main character will be a young girl whose backstory has yet to be revealed. Although there are several current theories, it is not known who the new protagonist will be. One plausible theory indicates that the main character is a friend or acquaintance of Gregory.
In my opinion, the DLC could include saving Gregory from the animatronics and other dangers. While not much is known about the new or returning characters, we may see Burntrap and Blob. Or FNAF could reveal new antagonist(s) for free DLC. Many fans have shared that they expect the upcoming DLC to balance the lack of lore and story in Security Breach.
