With the release of the Destiny 2 Lightfall add-on, a lot of new changes and content have been added to the game. But while the new season 20 requires new resources, what about the accumulated trial engrams from the previous season? This brings us to the problem that several D2 players are having, as they are unable to focus challenge engrams. Because of this, players are unable to redeem and receive any of the Challenge gear pieces. But is it because of a new bug, glitch, or a new Bungie system? How to fix Destiny 2 Lightfall Trials engrams not working issue
You can’t focus on your saved challenge engrams due to the new engram system introduced in the Destiny 2 Lightfall update. This is mainly because all of your Trials engrams have been moved to the Vendor section. You can access and find them by going to Saint-14, provider of Trials of Osiris. While your saved Trials engrams are still counting, you cannot focus or visualize them.
The Destiny 2 development team has confirmed on their official Twitter account (link) that Focus will return on March 24, 2023. Unfortunately, saved challenge engrams from previous seasons cannot be focused. However, you can decipher your Trials Engrams with Master Rahul instead. The development team also shared that they have updated the way Trials of Osiris engrams work and will be including a game mode in their next update. So stay tuned for further developments.
