On notched devices that lack a physical Home button, users instead rely on the soft Home bar at the bottom of the display to exit apps and multitasking.
While the gestures associated with the Home Bar are certainly more suited to modern iPhones compared to the outdated Home button, some people tend to disapprove of its aesthetic, which is why there are jailbreak tweaks to hide the Home Bar.
But whether you’re testing the developer beta version of the Fugu15 Max jailbreak, or preparing for an official public release at some point in the future, you may be happy to know that iOS developer iGerman has released a free jailbreak tweak called YetAnotherHomeBarHider.
YetAnotherHomeBarHider is designed to hide the home bar specifically on Fugu15 Max devices. This means that while there are already many other jailbreak tweaks with similar functionality, this is the first tweak designed to work with rootless dynamics on iOS and iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1.
While the home bar becomes hidden, it’s worth noting that users can still use the same gestures they always use to close apps and multitask.
It should also be noted that Fugu15 Max is currently only for developers. When the jailbreak leaves beta, it will get a new unique name and will be widely available to the public. When that happens, YetAnotherHomeBarHider can be a nice addition to your rootless arsenal.
