Several Meet Your Maker players are having trouble when they try to change the path of the harvester. The object of this game is for the raiders to steal genetic material from the base of other players. But what if someone is making a base where it is impossible to get to the material? That’s where Harvester comes in, so here’s a quick explanation of how it works.
How to change the combine path in Meet You Maker

You can change the Harvester by putting skins on the ground. Thanks to Reddit user u/WhatTheDuess on Reddit for sharing this method. You can check their comment here. The game has cosmetic props that can be used on walls. But you can also use them on the ground. The harvester will change its route when it hits one such block.
Another way to change this path is to remove any alternate routes you have developed and make them follow only one route. This is the best way to check other routes. Just disable multiple paths and test them one by one. Once you make sure that all your paths to the genetic material work. You can re-enable other paths and activate your base.
How the harvester works in MYM
The harvester works along the shortest path from the entrance to the base to the genetic material. You can see him on the yellow trail when you build your base. This yellow trail is important as it shows you the fastest path the raiders can take to get the genetic material. But when you remove a block in the path of its yellow trail, two things will happen.
The combine will look for the next best path and you will get another yellow trail. Or you will get a red trail indicating that the raiders cannot use the route to get to the genetic material. Make sure you build another path or fix the current one. Because you cannot activate your base until there is at least one path that the harvester can follow.
Once the path is correct, you can activate your base as active, override or social.
That being said, you shouldn’t have any problems changing the combine path in Meet Your Maker.
