Devil, Lilith’s Herald is one of the many bosses you need to defeat in Diablo 4. You’ll find her in the Horadr Vault when you go there to get the book Harnessed by Death: Rathma’s Theories. In this game, you can defeat the Devil in both melee and ranged combat. Though a ranged character like Warlock would be better. The main thing to pay attention to is the vortex surrounding the book in the center. This will break your health, slowing you down. She has three phases, and in them she uses the following attacks:
Phase 1
- Melee Attacks: The devil will hit you and drain your health.
- Lightning Strikes: She will charge 5 lightning balls. She will then launch them as punches in a straight line. This attack even knocks you back.
- Create Fireballs: She will create 2 fireballs that get bigger and bigger until they explode. You can destroy them before they reach their full size, or get out of their range before they have time to explode.
Phase 2
Once you reduce her HP to 50%, she will increase the radius of the whirlwind in the center. She will also make more fireballs. In addition, she makes the same attacks as in the first phase.
Phase 3: Defeat the herald Lilith Chorta in Diablo 4.
Same as in the second phase, once you reduce her health to 25% of her health. She will start creating even more fireballs. You may find that she does 8 to 10 of them at the same time. The best way to deal with them is to destroy at least one of them. And for added security, you can destroy two of them on each side.
Tips for dealing with the Devil Herald Lilith
- Stay away from Whirlwind: Whenever you’re chasing her, you should go in circles, not in a straight line. Otherwise, it will be easier for her to push you into the vortex with her lightning strikes to deal a lot of damage.
- Attack when she makes fireballs: This is a very useful trick. While spewing fire, which helps create these fireballs, the Devil will stay in one place. Therefore, you should spam all your attacks and skills to deal a lot of damage to her.
- Run from fireballs: destroying them is a good thing. But if you find them about to explode, it’s best to dodge their blast radius.
