While there are a few gestures to unlock in Elden Ring, the Erudite Gesture is one you shouldn’t miss. Emotions or gestures are used not only to strike poses, but also to complete quests and open towers. Erudite is one such emotes that you can use to unlock the Transformed Tower of the Tower puzzle. Like other gestures, you unlock it by completing certain tasks. So what can you do to unlock the Erudite Gesture? Here’s everything you need to know.
How to get the Erudite emote in Elden Ring

To get the erudition emote/emote, you need to complete the Sorcerer Thops questline. In doing so, you will receive a Gesture of Erudite by offering Tops the Key to Glintstone Academy. Well, it’s not as easy as it seems. The Academy Glintstone Key we need can only be obtained inside Paradise Lukaria Academy.
For those who don’t know, the sorcerer Tops can be found in the church of Irit sitting on a bench. Just run out of dialogue to move on to the next step to get the erudition gesture in Elden Ring.
You can now begin your journey to find the Academy Shiny Stone Key to offer to Tops. Do not offer him the Key found in Liurnia of the Lakes. As mentioned above, you can only give him the second Academy Glintstone Key found in Paradise Lukaria Academy. This is the only way to get the Erudite Gesture in Elden Ring.
Since the path to obtaining the Academy’s Glintstone Key is difficult, here are the directions for you:
- Quickly reach the Debate Room, the place of grace in the Rai Lukaria Academy.

- Next, go outside and get to the area with huge stairs.
- Go up the right side while fighting the enemies.
- Climb up another small ladder at the top and turn left.
- From there, jump over the railing to land on the stairs again.
- Climb up this ladder and turn left to jump and land on the roof.
- After that, walk along the left side of the roof to reach the ladder as shown in the image below:
- Now climb up this ladder and go to the other side of the bridge.
- Turn right and jump down, landing on subsequent rooftops.
- You should now reach a building with a sloping roof. Jump onto the roof of this building (on the right).
- Enter the 1st open window and land on the thin platform.
- At the bottom you will find a chandelier that you need to jump on.
- In addition to this chandelier, you can find the key to the Glintstone Academy.
