$280 Bose QuietComfort 45 Noise Canceling Headphones ($330)
The Bose QuietComfort 45 are the most comfortable noise canceling headphones we’ve tried. They also do a commendable job of preserving sound. Apple’s more expensive AirPods Max may have the best noise cancellation in their class, but if comfort is paramount, then the QC 45 is worth a look. They are better for larger ears and have a more neutral sound signature, but lack an equalizer tool to make adjustments. The QC 45 also features more robust physical play buttons compared to the touch controls commonly found on other headphones in this class. A full charge gives you about 20 hours of listening time, which should be enough for any trip.
