The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth has a specific release date. See you on iOS and Android on May 10th.
EA will release its free-to-play The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth game on May 10, making it the first Lord of the Rings game since 2009’s The Lord of the Rings: Conquest. menu and some additional elements. The game is one of five in development at Embracer (which acquired the rights last year), including the long-awaited The Lord of the Rings: Gollum due shortly thereafter.
The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth has an exact release date
The trailer is a “stylized, artistic yet realistic”version, according to Electronic Arts, delving into existing lore about wanderers, warriors, mages, and other iconic LOTR characters. And at the same time, a “more diverse and inclusive Middle-earth” is to be created, the company explains, showing the first footage of the story, PVP and other modes.
The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth features a range of characters from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, as well as collection systems, turn-based combat, and more. In an earlier press release, EA said that players will be able to experience “iconic stories from Tolkien’s vast world and get back to fighting Middle-earth’s greatest threats.”Given the free aspect of this opus, there will obviously be microtransactions.

The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth will be released on iOS and Android mobile platforms today, May 10th. Pre- registration is already open. Around the same time, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will release on consoles and PC on May 25, and Embracer still has at least three games in development over the next two years, according to multiple reports.
