How to alter the name of your character in Honkai Star Rail
Good news for the unsure: Honkai Star Rail’s title character’s name can be changed! Open the main menu, press the three dots, then tap Trailblazer Profile to alter the name of your character.
You can modify the name of your character under the Trailblazer Profile area by tapping on the tiny pencil icon next to your name. There are no constraints on the name of the main character, and you can even share a name with another player. Hoyoverse uses your UID to distinguish between various accounts.
Be aware that changing your name has a three-day cooldown! After changing your name, you have to wait 72 hours before doing it again. Be careful to give your new name plenty of thought.
You should also be aware that after the prologue, you cannot change your name. You cannot change your name after choosing it at the beginning of the game because doing so appears to count as a rename. Ignore Silver Wolf’s remarks and take as much time as you require to name your character.
Remember to include a bio in your Trailblazer Profile to introduce yourself to other players, as well as a support character. You receive beneficial advantages if other Trailblazers befriend you and employ your support character.
