Nikki Gutte in Dead Island 2: How to beat her
Because Nikki Gutte is a screamer zombie, it’s crucial to stop her scream in order to defeat her. And you can attack her or use a Curveball item to accomplish that. The problem is that as she screeches, she calls forth and aggravates fresh zombies. Even kicking them out won’t help much because she would just call for reinforcements. Therefore instead of going at her head-on, you should approach the fight with the following plan:
- Hurry up to her and use your Curveball item to start the fight. Nikki will be cut off by this.
- The swarm of zombies will charge towards you and attempt to assault.
- While avoiding them, kill half of them. Keep moving throughout this battle since the zombie horde could encircle you if you do.
- Running around can also help you get a better view of Nikki by separating some of the crowd.
- Hurry up and assault her now. She will scream once more in place of the zombies you just slain.
- To avoid being caught in her scream, consider moving behind her. You are pushed back and slowed down by her screech, making it more difficult to approach her. In order to avoid getting into a brawl, always have your Curveball item handy.
- While you are behind her, repeatedly attack her. She moves more quickly than Alesis, but you can still hit her a few times.
- When she is not yelling, she will swipe at you in an attempt to attack. Hence, avoid her slash attacks and then assault her with one of your weapons to defeat her.
- Continue doing so till she is gone. Killing the leftover zombies that she generated is all that remains after the battle is ended.
Nikki Gutte Boss Fight Tips
- Items with curveballs are crucial. I advise you to use Shuriken or Electric Stars and Meat Bait as your two Curveball items for this fight. Shuriken and Electric Stars work well for long-range attacks on Nikki. While using meat bait, you can combat Nikki while the zombies are diverted.
- Maintain a high HP as much as you can. If you find yourself in a corner, under attack from several adversaries, and unable to flee, this battle could end very quickly. As a result, be mindful to heal yourself whenever you can. You can also wait for auto healing to finish before using your abilities to recoup HP dependent on your skill cards.
All you had to do in Dead Island 2 was defeat Nikki Gutte in order to meet Sam B and receive your first gun as payment for the battle. Use a workbench and fix your weapons after a fight as soon as you have the chance.
