An iPhone-like Lock Screen could be introduced with iPadOS 17.

More information on rumored new features launching with iPadOS 17 has been given by an unnamed insider operating the @analyst941 Twitter account.

In addition to the new Lock Screen features coming with iOS 17, one upgrade in iPadOS 17 promises to deliver the same Lock Screen makeover and customization choices that Apple added to the iPhone with iOS 16 last year.

With iPadOS 17, these new Lock Screen features may become available for the iPad:

  • Apple’s unique wallpapers, including the depth effect, weather and emoji image filters,
  • Presets for the lock screen are shared
  • Personalization of the clock’s design
  • connecting in focus mode
  • Widgets for Wallpaper Galleries
