Acer India has partnered with Dixon Technologies to manufacture its products in India.

Acer India said in a press release that the plant will be capable of producing up to 500,000 laptops a year. The company also said that the PLI (Product Linked Incentives) offered by the Government of India is a game changer that will help increase domestic value added and turn India into a key export hub.

For now, the Taiwanese computer giant relies heavily on China to manufacture its products such as laptops and monitors, projectors, accessories, and more. However, with the ambition to make in India, along with PLI, the company is now trying to manufacture its products in India itself and export them all over the world.
