Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Upcoming ‘Dawn of Ragnarok’ DLC Gameplay Screenshots Leaked

Earlier last week, there were leaks that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla would receive DLC that could become part of Norse mythology. These leaks seem to have carried some serious weight with them, as screenshots have surfaced on Chinese store websites, seemingly confirming the details of the new DLC.

The upcoming DLC, tentatively titled Dawn of Ragnarok, will apparently follow Eivor’s adventure as Xavi through 9 realms. Players had previously experienced this side of the story in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s main campaign, and it certainly seemed like a great foundation to build on. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla “Dawn of Ragnarok”could be the biggest expansion in the series’ history.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ‘Dawn of Ragnarok’ will feature 9 worlds

Based on the leaked screenshots, Rise of Ragnarok will feature gameplay similar to the Asgard questline from the campaign. During the campaign, Eivor explores the realm of Asgard as Xavi/Odin through Valka’s brew. The expansion pack will, of course, include new cosmetics, equipment, and weaponry, as shown in the screenshot.

If the leaks are correct, the scheduled release date for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla “Dawn of Ragnarok”is March 10, 2022. It appears to be different from the DLC which is rumored to be released in December 2021. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla wasn’t the smoothest. post-launch releases, as many of the planned updates and DLC often come with bugs, greatly hindering the player’s gaming experience.

However, the latest major expansion, The Siege of Paris, has been relatively stable and managed to attract new fans to the series thanks to its quality storytelling and gameplay. One can only hope that ambition and scope don’t get in the way of quality and polish, and that Rise of Ragnarok manages to live up to the player’s expectations.
