Asus is working on the next generation ROG Zephyrus Duo gaming laptop. The company is expected to launch the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 laptop early next year with at least three models under that name. The Zephyrus Duo 15 was launched back in September 2020 and now it looks like the company is working on a 16-inch model for the global market. While there is no official launch date, the laptop is expected to be released at CES 2022 starting on January 5, 2022.

However, a few days ago, Evleaks posted an image of the device that confirms the combination of the touchpad and numeric keypad of the 16-inch model. In addition, the leak also confirmed the presence of a secondary display with a lifting mechanism similar to the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15. Also, while the Zephyrus Duo 15 had a 16:9 aspect ratio, the upcoming Zephyrus Duo 16 may have a different aspect ratio as it comes with big screen.

Needless to say, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 will feature the latest processor from Intel/AMD. For context, the Asus Zephyrus Duo 15 features a 15.6-inch main display with two options – a 4K screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and a Full HD display with a 300Hz refresh rate. It also features a 14.1-inch ROG ScreenPad that can be easily tilted up to 13 degrees. The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6 GPU. The laptop offers up to 48GB of expandable DDR4 RAM and up to 2TB of RAID 0 M.2 NVMe PCI 3.0×4 SSD storage.
