Oppo is gearing up to launch its first ever foldable, the Oppo Find N. Yesterday, the company confirmed the launch date and also unveiled the first look of the upcoming foldable phone. The Find N Foldable phone will debut on December 15, the second day of the company’s annual Oppo Inno Day. Ahead of the launch, renders of the upcoming Find N have surfaced online thanks to Evan Blass. In addition to renderings, information about the main characteristics and prices of variants was leaked on Weibo. Oppo Find N: specifications and pricing leaked
The Find N will feature a design language similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold line. This means the Find N will have a lid display and a large folding display. The Find N’s display lid is said to have a 60Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the primary display will be an LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, Qualcomm’s flagship offering from 2020.
There will be a triple rear camera on the back of the phone, including an LED flash. Find N’s main sensor will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, which is already found in several phones on the market. In fact, the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro is said to have the same main sensor. Along with the main 50MP sensor, the Find N will have a duo of 16MP and 13MP sensors. We can expect the 16MP shooter to be a super wide-angle lens, while the 13MP shooter could be a telephoto lens. The device may offer a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Oppo Find N is said to feature a 4,500mAh battery, support for 33W wired fast charging, and support for 15W wireless charging. It will also feature an X-axis linear vibration motor. Find N will cost 12,999 yuan for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. Whereas, buyers will have to spend around RMB 13,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. What do you think of Oppo Find N?
