The free games giveaway on the Epic Games Store will continue until 2022, and this week’s free game is the third-person shooter Daemon X Machina from Marvelous Inc. Mecha anime fans will definitely want to give this a try as in the game, players take control of a fully customizable mecha and battle all sorts of enemies.
Daemon X Machina also has a strong multiplayer and co-op component in addition to the fantastic single player mode. The game’s approach to combat and customization allows players to remodel and customize each part of their mech to suit their skills.
The looter shooter-type mechanic allows players to collect weapon parts from defeated enemies, which can be used on the fly during combat.

The Epic Games Store was giving away a lot of games last year, and towards the end of 2021, the store was giving away one free game a day during the holiday season. In numbers, the Epic Games Store gave away 89 free games worth approximately $2,120 (in US prices).
This is a staggering amount of value being provided to users, and it looks like Epic has no intention of stopping this trend this year. In a blog post, Epic confirmed that they will continue to give away free games in 2022, and so far, players have received both Relicta and Daemon X Machina for free.
To get free games in the Store, the user must have an Epic Games account. They can get it by registering on the store’s official website. After that, they can download the Launcher from which they can browse the store and launch their games from the library.
As soon as the game is in demand, it will appear in the player’s library, from where it can be launched.
