The launch of the Honor 60 series is imminent. The company will unveil its premium smartphones in China on December 1st. We can expect the event to feature at least two smartphones – the Honor 60 and 60 Pro. Some key details of the devices have leaked into the past.

Confirmation of some information leak is a listing on the Chinese JD.com, which reveals the design and characteristics of future Honor smartphones. Both phones will feature a curved display, as shown in design images posted on the e-commerce site. Let’s take a look at the specs, features, design and other details of the Honor 60 series.

Honor 60 series specifications, design confirmed

The launch event for the Honor 60 series is scheduled in China on December 1st. The two devices to be launched are listed on JD.com before launch. This confirms that both devices will have a pill-shaped camera module design. The module has two large cutouts, each containing a camera sensor. The third sensor is placed between two circular cutouts, completing the three-chamber setup. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the device.

Both devices have a curved screen on the front. However, the vanilla model only has curved edges on the sides, while the Pro model has curved edges on all four sides of the display. Both phones have a notch in the center at the top. Previously, there were rumors that the vanilla model would have a pill-shaped cutout in the top left corner for a screen to mount a dual front camera. The two Honor smartphones are likely to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner as no rear or side scanner is visible in the images.

The devices will feature a Full HD+ display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. They will likely feature the new Snapdragon 778G+ SoC that was released earlier this year. The devices are also said to feature a 50MP front camera sensor and a 108MP rear camera. Both phones will likely support 66W fast charging.
