Honor 60 Pro Listed on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM May Have Snapdragon 778G+ SoC

A few days ago , Honor confirmed that the launch date of the Honor 60 series smartphones has been confirmed. Subsequently, renderings of the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro appeared on the network, which showed the design of the phones, as well as revealed the main characteristics.

The phones will go on sale on December 1 and will replace the Honor 50 smartphones. However, it seems that somehow even before the launch, the hardware specifications of the Honor 60 Pro appeared on Geekbench.

Honor 60 Pro: Specifications Leaked

The Honor 60 Pro, codenamed THA-AN00, has a Geekbench listing that confirms some of the phone’s hardware claims and indicates that the Honor 60 Pro will be almost the same as the Honor 60 in terms of size and design.

The Geekbench listing confirms that the phone will ship with a chipset from Qualcomm as the listing mentions SM7325, which basically points to Snapdragon 778G and 778G+. However, since the listing mentions a maximum clock speed of 2.52GHz, it’s safe to say that the phone will ship with the Snapdragon 778G+.

The listing also states that the phone will ship with 12GB of RAM, which means the Geekbench listing is the best option for a phone running Android 11 out of the box.

With the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, the phone will have Adreno 642L GPU and Snapdragon X53 5G cellular modem, which will provide data transfer speeds up to 3.7Gbps. Ankit also revealed that the phone will feature a Full HD+ curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

He also mentioned that there will be a 108MP main camera on the back and a 50MP selfie camera on the front. The phone will offer 66W fast charging. There are also rumors that both phones will offer triple cameras on the back.

Some sources have also said that three new smartphones will be launched in the new lineup, including the Honor 60 SE. However, these doubts will be dispelled on December 1st when the company will officially unveil the new Honor 60 series.
