Infinix plans to launch first 5G smartphone by January and seven more phones in first half of 2022: CEO

Infinix launched its first laptop on the market yesterday. According to Infinix CEO Anish Kapoor shared with Giznext, Infinix will soon launch its first 5G smartphone by January. In addition to the 5G phone, Infinix also plans to launch seven more devices in the first half of 2022, according to the CEO.

Infinix 5G smartphone to be released by January 2022

Infinix has introduced almost 14 smartphones this year and plans to release the same number of devices in 2022. In related news, the company is also gearing up to launch the Infinix Note 11 series of smartphones, the Infinix Note 11 and Note 11S, on December 13th. According to the details revealed by the Infinix CEO in an interaction with Giznext, the Infinix Note 11 and Note 11S smartphones will cost less than $200. In addition, Infinix is ​​also planning to release its first 5G smartphone by January 2022, as confirmed by the CEO. The company’s upcoming 5G phone is said to use a MediaTek processor. The price of this upcoming 5G smartphone will range from $198 to $265. The Infinix 5G smartphone will compete with the likes of Poco M3 Pro 5G, Realme 8S 5G when it goes official.

In addition to the first 5G phone, the company also plans to release about seven smartphones in the first half of next year. In addition to the smartphone launch, Infinix is ​​also planning to introduce another laptop in India next year. The company’s next laptop will reportedly go on sale in the first half of next year, and according to the CEO, it will be aggressively priced. The brand is also expected to expand the smart TV segment and plans to introduce a 55-inch TV at the same time next year.

Infinix CEO Anish Kapoor also said the company is in talks with carriers and will conduct trials when the device becomes available. There are no details yet on what the company’s first smartphone will be called. Several reports suggest that the brand will release its first 5G phone called the Infinix Zero 5G. According to the leaked specs, the device comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout, a Dimensity 900 5G chipset, and a triple camera on the back.
