Under-screen camera Xiaomi 12 Pro

Xiaomi may launch Xiaomi 12 Pro with under-screen camera technology. The Mix 4 was the company’s first phone to feature this technology. According to the source code of MIUI 13, Xiaomi may bring its Camera Under Panel (CUP) technology to the Xiaomi 12 series. A report discovered by XiaomiUI states that the 12 Pro may be one of the few Xiaomi smartphones equipped with CUP technology.

Video teasers for MIUI 13 show the phone with an all-screen design. The phone, according to XiaomiUI, is the 12 Pro. In addition, it states that the device has a quad-curved display. However, the top and bottom bezels will be slightly thicker than the Mi 11 series. The report also states that the device may have a piezoelectric speaker like the original Mi MIX, as the device shown in the video does not have a physical speaker.

Other details of the device remain unknown. We can expect Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 under the hood. The phone is also said to support 120W fast charging. According to reports, the device will come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. More information about the device will appear in the coming days. Xiaomi has not confirmed any details regarding the launch date. Leaked parts should be handled with a pinch of salt.
