Xiaomi may soon launch a 120W phone that could come on Xiaomi 11T Pro or 11i Hypercharge

Chinese electronics company Xiaomi, which is now the market leader in smartphones in India, may be working on a device with 120W fast charging in India soon. According to a 91Mobile report, the phone could be the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone or the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus that the company recently launched in China. The report also states that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ could be rebranded as the Redmi Note 11i Hypercharge in India, making fast charging a slogan support for the phone. A launch date for the device is not yet known, but the phone should arrive in India in December.

Thankfully, we already know most of the specs of the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus thanks to the China launch. The device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, as well as a punch-hole camera on the front. It will also have three cameras on the back, with a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the punch-hole camera will use a 16MP sensor. While 120W fast charging is supported, the phone will be powered by a 4500mAh battery. It will also support 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFS. It also has a USB Type-C port.

In terms of processor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, though companies sometimes change chipsets when they take devices overseas. Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus also supports 120Hz refresh rate, has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Dolby Vision video playback with a touch response rate of 480 Hz will also be available.
