Poco C Series has sold 3 million units on Flipkart, company claims

Affordable yet feature-rich phones seem to have helped POCO this year. Today, the company announced that it has sold three million POCO C series devices on Flipkart since their launch in the country. The POCO C series was first announced in September and was launched at the end of the same month. They are priced in the sub-10k segment and consist of the POCO C3 and POCO C31 smartphones, both of which “dominate”the sub-10k segment, according to POCO. While the sub-10k segment is a big market, touching three million in less than three months should still impress many.

It is also worth noting that while POCO is currently a brand independent of Xiaomi, the company is following a similar strategy. The fact that so many variants of the POCO C series have been sold may indicate that this is the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi series, which has not received many updates lately. Instead, the parent brand has focused on the Redmi Note and Mi series, which are mostly priced above Rs. 10,000 price range. Analysts estimate that POCO could use this opportunity to carve out a niche for itself in the budget segment in India, which analysts estimate still accounts for a huge portion of smartphone sales.

Characteristics and features of POCO C31

POCO C31 has a 6.53-inch HD display with MEdiaTek Helio G35 octa-core chipset and 5000mAh battery. It comes with 3GB and 4GB of RAM and has 32GB and 64GB storage options that are acceptable for sub-10K price points. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and is sold in Royal Blue and Matte Black. There are three cameras on the back: a 13MP main camera and two others for macro and portrait photography, each with 2MP sensors. It’s a shame that phones still support Android 10 out of the box.

Specifications and features of POCO C3

POCO C3 has more or less the same specs as POCO C31, but its price is slightly lower than this device. In addition to Matte Black and Arctic Blue, this device is also available in Lime Green.
