The Micromax AirFunk 1 and 1 Pro true wireless earbuds are here. The TWS earbuds were teased yesterday by co-founder Rahul Sharma and both were launched in the budget segment. These two headphones offer interesting feature sets that are different from each other and will compete with budget headphones like the Realme Buds Q2 and others in the budget segment. Both earbuds will be sold through Flipkart and are available in multiple color options.

Starting with the Pro version, the Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm QCC 3040 chipset, which provides Clear Voice Capture 8.0 (CVC 8.0) audio enhancement. This provides ambient noise cancellation when listening through headphones and echo cancellation when you make a call. The AirFunk 1 Pro offers 25dB noise cancellation, which is less than the already shallow 35dB noise cancellation offered in budget headphones. Apart from this, it is equipped with 13mm dynamic drivers and the voice call capabilities are served by four microphones.
Communication is via Bluetooth 5.2, and the charging case has a USB-C charging port. It also has an IP44 ruggedness rating and headphone touch controls. The buds themselves have a stem in their design and have a round charging case. Total playback time is calculated at 7 hours on headphones only and 32 hours with charging case. The AirFunk 1 Pro costs $34 and is available in blue, white, black, yellow, and red. It will be sold through Flipkart from August 18th.

Meanwhile, the standard variant costs $17 and is therefore one of the most affordable pairs of true wireless earbuds on the market. In terms of feature set, the Micromax AirFunk 1 offers 9mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, and is certified to deliver “3D stereo surround sound”. You get the stock-style earbuds without the handle, and battery life is rated for five hours of playtime when charging the earphones, and 15 hours of playtime with the charging case. It also has a USB-C port and is IP44 splash and dust resistant.
The only unique feature here is the ability to change your voice to male or female between calls, which is kind of a fun ploy to attract users. It also comes in a flat charging case and is available in five color options – blue, yellow, purple, white and black and red.
