Netflix Games has added three new mobile games to its roster

At this point in time, gaming has seemingly permeated every aspect of entertainment, and Netflix is keen to be a part of that process. Earlier this year, Netflix introduced a couple of games on the mobile app and allowed players to download and play games through the Google Play Store at no additional cost. Netflix has added 3 new games to its platform, namely Dominoes Café, Knittens and Wonderputt Forever.

These games complement those already on the platform, such as Asphalt Xtreme, Stranger Things: 1984, and many more. It’s a sign that the company can actually be serious about building a solid gaming platform, and their acquisition of major indie studio Night School Studio suggests the same.

Netflix adds three new games to its platform

These games are available to subscribers at no additional cost, meaning they are essentially available for free as long as players have a Netflix subscription. The games currently on the platform aren’t the biggest and most extensive offerings, but they’re a good starting point and hopefully Netflix can create something substantial in the future.

Bringing Night School Studio to Netflix is a major deal that could potentially lead to some really cool ideas for the platform. Night School Studio’s hits include sensational indie song Oxenfree, which received critical acclaim and praise. For now, Netflix may just be testing the water and seeing if there is really demand for the service on their platform.

Right now, there are a number of cool games that young players might enjoy, such as Stranger Things: 1984. It will be interesting to see what games come to the platform in the future.
