Rainbow Six Siege Development Team Updates

The future of Rainbow Six Siege will be without creative director Leroy Atanasoff.

Two years after the departure of several members of the core team from Rainbow Six Siege, creative director Xavier Marquis and brand director Alexander Remy, a new movement is taking place before the start of the seventh year of content. Leroy Atanasoff steps down as creative director to pursue a career at Ubisoft:

“This is not an easy decision as I love this game and its community and I am very proud of what our team has achieved over the past two years, but I am confident that this choice is the right one and the whole team supports me in this decision. Don’t worry, I won’t get far and feel like my adventure in this great game is far from over. I am also happy to announce that my colleague and friend Alexander will replace me! Having worked with him for four years, I can tell you that he is not only competent and talented, but also passionate about the license. I saw firsthand his commitment to creating fun and engaging features that fans love.”

Alexander Karpazis to replace Leroy Atanasoff to secure the future of Rainbow Six Siege

Artistic director Alexander Karpazis will now lead the Rainbow Six Siege development team as several new announcements are expected in the coming months: “I started my adventure when the game was still in alpha. I teamed up with a few friends and we joined the first internal tournament where we made it to the finals. I knew there was something special about this title, even in its early days, but I still didn’t know what impact it would have on my life. Let’s take a step forward to the present… I’ve spent the last four years with an incredible team in one of the best competitive shooters in the world.
