We know that Realme is preparing to introduce the flagship smartphone of the GT series, dubbed the Realme GT 2 Pro. The renders and specifications of this upcoming device were leaked courtesy of 91Mobiles a few days ago. In addition, Realme founder and CEO Sky Lee confirmed that the brand’s future flagship will be called Realme GT 2 Pro and the device will be available worldwide.
Now, in a recent development, Realme has confirmed that its upcoming premium smartphone – Realme GT 2 Pro will feature the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Apart from these key specs, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has also confirmed that Realme GT 2 Pro will debut in this month. Realme GT 2 Pro Specifications (Expected)
According to previously leaked information, the Realme GT 2 Pro will sport a 6.8-inch OLED display with WQHD+ resolution. According to the leaked render, the phone will have a Nexus 6P-inspired design. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which Realme has confirmed. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is based on a new 4nm process and includes several new improvements over the Snapdragon 888+. The chipset has an integrated X65 5G modem, a new Adreno GPU, and an 18-bit Triple Image Signal Processor (ISP).
Returning to the Realme GT 2 Pro specs, the device is expected to feature a triple camera on the back. The smartphone may include a 50MP main wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera, and an 8MP rear telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone must have a 32-megapixel camera. A past leak shows the device will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. We can expect this upcoming flagship smartphone to run Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
In addition, the smartphone also supports 125W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, we can expect the device to offer features such as dual SIM support, 5G, 4G, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. As far as Realme GT 2 Pro pricing goes, the device could be priced at $799.
