Samsung is getting ready to release the Galaxy S22 series. Flagship smartphones will go on sale on February 9 worldwide. One of the devices is the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.

The upcoming Galaxy A series smartphone will be the successor to the A52s 5G. There is currently no information on an official launch date. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is imminent. The phone’s support page has been launched on the company’s website. Ahead of launch, a report from WinFuture reveals the design and specifications of Samsung’s upcoming smartphone. It has a perforated display with thin bezels around it. The phone will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It will also have 120Hz refresh rate support and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone will be powered by an Exynos 1200 SoC under the hood. The SoC has two cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six efficient cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It will come with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be possible to expand the storage up to 1TB using the microSD card slot.

Samsung will install a 5000 mAh battery in the Galaxy A53 5G. It will come with support for 25W fast charging. The phone weighs 189 grams and measures 8.1mm.

On the back of the phone is a 64 MP main camera sensor. The quad-camera setup is complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide camera and two 5MP sensors. One of the 5MP sensors will be used for macro photography. The device will come with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Other leaked details include support for 5G, Bluetooth 5.x, WLAN, and NFC. The phone is expected to boot Android 12 out of the box with a OneUI 4.0 layer on top.
