Over the past few weeks, the Realme GT 2 series has become one of the most anticipated smartphone launches this season. The company recently confirmed the features of the GT 2 series such as biopolymer material, ultra-wide camera with 150-degree field of view, and 360° NFC technology. After a series of social media teasers and several official feature announcements, the company has finally announced the launch date for the Realme GT 2 Series in China. The Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to 12 GB of RAM. The device will feature a 6.8-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also reported to feature a 125W fast charging system, which will be the first commercial phone from Realme. Out of the box, the GT 2 Pro will run Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. The device could have a 50MP main sensor, labeled along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 150-degree field of view, and an 8MP third sensor. An OIS feature is also expected here.
On the other hand, a new Realme GT series phone was spotted a few days ago, which is likely the Realme GT 2. Realme GT 2 is expected to flaunt a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 888 SoC with 8GB/12 GB RAM. and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. In terms of optics, the phone is said to have a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP secondary shooter, and a 2MP camera. which can be a macro or a depth sensor. The phone is also said to come with a 65W fast charging system and a 5,000mAh battery. Realme worked with designer Naoto Fukasawa to design their flagship smartphone.
