GTA 6 rumors intensify as Snoop Dogg apparently hints that Dr Dre is working on songs for the Grand Theft Auto game

Every day, the gaming community as a whole hopes to the skies that the gaming gods will bless the world with some news about GTA 6. It seems that our prayers have been answered in the form of a new wave of rumors surrounding GTA 6, inspired by comments made by legendary West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg in a recent interview with Rolling Stone Music Now.

During the podcast, Snoop commented on Dr Dre, a West Coast legend and certified pop culture icon, who is back in the studio to cook up something for a GTA game. His exact comment was:

“I know he makes great fucking music. And some of his music is related to the upcoming GTA game. So I think that’s how his music will be released through the GTA video game.”

Could Dr Dre be working on the next GTA game?

Could just as easily be the next big update for GTA Online

While it’s likely that this could be Grand Theft Auto VI, there have been rumors that it could be a collaboration between Dr. Dre and Rockstar for music in Grand Theft Auto Online, or possibly even Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded and Enhanced Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. Snoop simply stated that Dre was working on a project related to Grand Theft Auto, but had no doubt that this was a completely new game.

Rockstar has generally kept these things under wraps at all times, so it’s unlikely they’ll even comment on Snoop’s remark without confirming and denying these rumors. However, this is a big problem for fans knowing that Dr Dre will be bringing his incredible talent to the Grand Theft Auto project, which will hopefully be revealed soon.

This is far from the first time Dr Dre or his music has been featured in a GTA game, his music regularly appears in many games as well as a small episode in Grand Theft Auto Online where he appeared alongside Jimmy Iovine and DJ Pooh.
