Oppo Smartphone With Dimensity 920 Chipset To Be Launched Soon: Specifications Leaked

Oppo launched the Reno 7 series in China on November 25th. The company introduced three new smartphones, one of which is the Reno 7 SE. The entry-level smartphone of the Reno 7 series is equipped with an AMOLED display and a Dimensity 900 SoC. Oppo appears to be working on a smartphone with a slightly more powerful version of the Dimensity 900, the Dimensity 920.

The name of the upcoming Oppo smartphone remains unknown. However, some key details of the device have been reported. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Oppo smartphone, which is rumored to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC.

Oppo smartphone specifications leaked

The official name of the upcoming Oppo smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor is currently unknown. However, the specifications of this device have been leaked. A tipster on Weibo (via GizmoChina) claimed that the upcoming Oppo smartphone mentioned above will cost around 2,000 Yuan for the 8GB + 128GB base model. The 256GB variant is likely to cost 2299 yuan.

The tipster also listed some key features. It will feature a 6.43-inch Samsung-made AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. The screen will also support a 90Hz refresh rate and have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It will also likely feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Dimensity 920 SoC will be accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging. Tipster has also leaked the camera specs of the Oppo device. It will be equipped with a triple camera on the back. There will be a 64MP OmniVision OV64B main sensor, a Sony IMX355 ultra-wide shooter and a 4cm macro camera. The device will feature a 16MP Sony IMX471 front camera sensor for selfies and video calls. No launch date has yet been announced. However, the device is expected to be released in the coming days.
