Sony State of Play event to take place on February 2 featuring Gran Turismo 7

The next PlayStation State of Play stream has been confirmed to take place on February 2, 2022, which is this Wednesday. This release of State of Play is a little different than usual, as PlayStation has pretty much confirmed that Gran Turismo 7 will dominate most of the stream.

The stream will be approximately 20 minutes long and will include 30 minutes of new PS5 footage and gameplay details from Gran Turismo 7. The stream will be live on Youtube and Twitch, with Indian audiences able to stream State of Play on Wednesday at 3:30.

State of Play usually includes a range of games for the PlayStation and even third-party developers, but in this case, the focus will be on Gran Turismo 7. This is one of the most anticipated releases for PS5, so it’s no surprise that Gran Turismo 7 will get game status. by itself.

PlayStation State of Play will only feature Gran Turismo 7

There has been a lot of talk about the State of Play event in February and it looks like this could be it. There have been some great games on PS5, but there has been serious demand from the community for other games like Returnal and Demon’s Souls that can take full advantage of Dualsense’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Horizon Forbidden West is currently the nearest first PlayStation release and the community is hoping it will be a good showcase for next generation consoles. Gran Turismo 7 is also another major release of the year that many fans are counting on to truly be a next-gen game.

2022 looks to be fairly stable for Sony, despite their green brethren making a lot of noise lately. With a couple of releases like the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection already in the bag, and more releases are rumored to be announced, the PS5 seems like a pretty exciting buy at the moment.
