Redmi K50 series device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 120W fast charging spotted on Geekbench, TENAA and 3C

After the launch of the Xiaomi 12 series devices, the Chinese technology company is gearing up to launch the Redmi K50 series. Earlier this week, Lu Weibing, CEO of Redmi, shared the first teaser of the upcoming Redmi K50 series. In a new development, the Redmi K50 series phone with model number 21121210C has been spotted on the certification websites of Geekbench, 3C and TENAA. The phone will offer a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 120W charging, so it could be the Redmi K50 Pro.

Redmi 21121210C could become Redmi K50 Pro!

Redmi 21121210C scored 1226 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, the score in the multi-core test was 3726 points. The Geekbench listing also reveals that the phone will feature an octa-core processor with a 1+3+4 cores configuration, a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz, and is codenamed taro. This confirms that the upcoming Redmi 21121210C will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

The Redmi 21121210C has also appeared on the 3C certification website, reporting the availability of 120W fast charging. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the phone will have 12GB of RAM and will come preloaded with Android 12. Based on the processor and charging capabilities, we can assume that the Redmi 21121210C is the Redmi K50 Pro.

For those who don’t know, last year Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ were the only devices in the K40 series equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. Before that, Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom were only K30 series phones equipped with Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 865.

Earlier this week, Redmi confirmed through a teaser that a phone with a 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging will be released soon. So, Redmi K50 Pro can get a 4700 mAh battery. Xiaomi is expected to release several Redmi K50 series devices. We should know more about the upcoming Redmi K50 series devices in the coming days.
