XPG Vault, the concept of a gaming mouse with built-in SSD

XPG introduces the Vault, a gaming mouse concept with a built-in solid state drive.

Video game players can be very picky when it comes to the accessories they use to play. For this reason, it’s no surprise that many players bring their own cars to esports competitions when it’s allowed. Some have favorite keyboards and mice to play with.

XPG Introduces Vault, a Gaming Mouse Concept

It’s no surprise that professionals use one tool or another that they can’t live without, or at least do their daily work. For example, a chef has knives that he never leaves, an artist has brushes, etc. If you are the kind of person who carries peripherals wherever you go to play, then the XPG brand might have something for you.

The company has just unveiled a mouse concept that should be on display in due form at CES 2022, a concept called the XPG Vault. At first glance, the mouse is no different from a standard gaming mouse, but under the body is a built-in SSD with a capacity of up to 1TB.

The idea is this: By integrating an SSD into a mouse, gamers will be able to store their games on it and take them with them wherever they go. And this feature is clearly not meant for gamers. To go to work or school, you can use the internal storage to transport important files and documents, as well as those that are used during the day. Content creators can upload their photos, videos or audio files to it.

At the same time, apart from the concept itself, nothing is currently known about this mouse. No one, for example, knows whether XPG plans to sell this mouse or not, much less what its price might be. However, with a 1TB internal SSD, we suspect the bill could be huge.
