Activision Announces Snoop Dogg Coming Soon to COD Vanguard Warzone

Snoop Dogg recently made headlines in the gaming community for joining the FaZe clan, and now it looks like the West Coast legend will make his way into Call of Duty. Activision /COD took to Twitter to tease the legendary rapper’s appearance in both Vanguard Warzone and COD Mobile.

From what can be understood from the teaser itself, the “Dogg”tags hint at a possible arrival date for Snoop Dogg. It looks like the rapper will be heading to Vanguard Warzone on April 19, 2022, and he will appear in COD Mobile much earlier on April 1, 2022.

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has seen crossovers, as characters like John McClain (from Die Hard) and Rambo were previously available as playable operators.

Snoop Dogg may appear in COD Mobile and Vanguard Warzone in April

Over the years, Snoop Dogg has become a mainstay in gaming culture, establishing himself as a regular streamer and now as part of FaZe Clan. His appearance in Call of Duty solidifies his credibility in the gaming community, and it will be interesting to see how the developers decide to use his Operator in the game.

While it has not been confirmed if Snoop will be available as an operator, this is the most common route for all of the major crossover events in the franchise.

Both Warzone and Mobile have seen success over the past few months, and with Warzone on mobile set to take center stage, COD is only going to get bigger on mobile. The game is currently in development at many of Activision’s internal studios, and more information will likely be revealed later this year.

It will be interesting to see what design changes will be made to Warzone to accommodate the hardware for mobile devices.
