Adibou: Wiloki revives the famous educational game for mobile phones and tablets

Ubisoft called on Inigo Factory to re-license Adibou through Wiloki.

To learn how to read, count, garden, listen to stories, create recipes or have fun while developing their creativity, a new generation of children aged four to seven can now immerse themselves in the world of Adibou. With over ten million users across Europe, the humanoid alien still evokes many nostalgic people, some of whom are now new parents.

“Adibu speaks to an entire generation and his mission to implement learning through play and his pedagogical vision is in line with our values,” states Manon Oskian, co-founder and CEO of Wiloki. “Until now, our online tutoring service has been aimed at children who can read and write. Thus, Adibou is the perfect complement to the offer to accompany the little ones right up to reading.” Cedric Royer, Content Director at Ubisoft, adds: “We are excited about this collaboration with Wiloki. She brings back to life the cute character Adiba, who shook the childhood of an entire generation. Wiloki brings a real edutainment experience with fun content that adapts to every child. ”

Interactive places of the upgraded version of Adibou

  • Garden: This main place is the starting point for the child. This allows him to meet most of the characters and move between different spaces inspired by the Adibu universe. It is highly customizable, populated with several secondary characters, and contains many interactive elements to pique the curiosity of children.
  • Kitchen: The child prepares cakes, pies and pizzas that he can decorate, let Plop and Buzigulum try and have fun with their reactions or add them to his inventory to send to his friends later.
  • Living Room: A creative space that gives access to various mini-games. The card game trains spatial, visual and auditory memory, and the brick crusher develops motor skills and rhythm. The salon is also the multimedia center of Adibou. Thus, the projector broadcasts various videos, nursery rhymes and stories, while the speaker allows you to listen to interactive and immersive podcasts. At any time, the child can change the narrator, and hence the point of view on the story. Robin Hood, for example, can be narrated by Bingo, the funny storyteller, or the Sheriff of Nottingham. The easel will soon provide drawing access to create animated messages.
  • Garden: grow fruits and vegetables from the garden, which are then used for cooking, and learn about insects that are beneficial to plants.
  • Le Coin des Fleurs: To grow beautiful flowers, bees come to feed. Thanks to the flowers, the bees make honey, which is used for baking. An activity that allows the child to observe the result of at least fifty thousand combinations of seeds.
  • Tower of Knowledge: Located in the main garden, it gives access to rooms dedicated to awakening and learning about basic educational topics.
  • Math Room: Kids learn to count and count with fun activities.
  • French play: children learn to read and write through fun activities
