Apple iPhone 13 to be released in green, iPad Air in purple at March 8 event

Tonight, Apple is gearing up for its first event of the year. The company is expected to launch a new iPhone SE (iPhone SE 3), Mac mini with updated M1 Pro chips, M1 Max, and a new iPad Air. With only a few hours left before launch, a recent report from AppleTrack has revealed that the company will also release the iPhone 13 and iPad Air in brand new color options.

Green iPhone 13 and Purple iPad Air Coming Tonight

According to the report, Apple is ready to launch a green color variant for the Apple iPhone 13 and a purple color variant for the iPad Air. The report says that the new iPhone color will be dark green and it will be somewhere between Mint iPhone 12 and Midnight Green iPhone 11 Pro.

The refreshed iPad Air, also due out tonight, will be available in purple, which should be similar to the existing iPad Mini. The new iPad Air is expected to be powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic chipset, which supports 5G.

The iPhone 13 is currently available in Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Product Red. Apart from the new color options, specifications and pricing are expected to remain the same. The iPhone 13 is available starting at $1048 for the 128GB variant, $1179 for the 256GB variant and $1441 for the top 512GB variant.

iPhone 13 features a 6.1-inch OLED display and A15 Bionic processor with 5G support. it features a 12MP main camera on the back, as well as a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP selfie camera. The phone is also protected from dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard. The device supports 20W wired charging and 15W MagSafe wireless charging.

The Apple event kicks off tonight at 11:30 pm EST and the event will be streamed live on YouTube.
